Course content
Week 1: First Conversations
By the end of this week, students will be able to hold their first conversations in Spanish and get to know new people.
Week 2: At the Bar
From ordering drinks to introducing eachother and some slang and culture along the way.
Week 3: Making Plans
Students will be able to tell the time, set up meetings with friends, make reservations and book appointments.
Week 4: Actions & Invites
Students will be able to talk about their weekly plans and set up plans with friends.
Week 5: Breather Week
Lock in everything from Weeks 1-4 with high-energy roleplays and rapid-fire speaking games. Build your confidence and consolidate your knowledge before continuing the course.
Week 6: The Restaurant
Students will be able to navigate everything from making the reservation to eating, paying and leaving, and learn useful food vocabulary.
Week 7: Getting Personal
Students will be able to get to know people better and ask questions about their family, pets, interests and more.
Week 8 & 9 Conversational Flow
Students will be able to navigate day-to-day expressions and useful phrases.
Week 10: The finale
You will practice everything you've learned throughout the 10 weeks using rapid-fire scenarios, interactive roleplays, and dynamic activities, culminating in a real-life bar meetup where you can celebrate and socialise like a true local. The meetup will include games, activities and even a few extras for you to learn.
